2.24 Final Inspection
Construction Management Representative (CMR) -
- Coordinate with contractor, park, and COR to set final inspection date
- Draft and sign response letter to contractor providing final inspection
date using template below.
- Conduct final inspection and incorporate a final sequentially
numbered, priced punch list into the draft letter of substantial
completion; and send electronic version to COR
- The NPS Accessibility Inspector will conduct a final accessibility inspection. The inspector will utilize the NPS Final Accessibility Inspection Report below. The contractor must correct any deficiencies identified in
the inspection.
- Before occupancy can occur on building projects the Regional Structural Fire Management Officer (RSFMO) has to have accepted the fire and life safety systems and issued a preliminary certificate of occupancy. Utilize forms below as required.

2.25 Completion of Punch List Items
CMR -
- Monitor contractor's progress on punch list completion and
maintain an updated priced punch list
- Notify COR upon completion of punch list work

2.26 As-Built Drawings
CMR -
- Perform final review of as-built drawing submittal for completeness
and accuracy (see Division 1 section 01770, Project Record Drawings);
forward 2 copies to COR and one copy to park, chief of maintenance

2.27 Required Training Provided
CMR -
- Verify all training requirements are shown in the Closeout and Operations & Maintenance requirements checklist included at the end of Division 1 Specifications.
- Verify what training has or has not been provided
- Coordinate with the contractor to schedule and complete the remainder

2.28 Spare Parts, Replacement Materials, Tools,
Etc.
CMR -
- Verify all requirements are shown in the Closeout and Operations
& Maintenance requirements checklist included at the end
of Division 1 Specifications.
- Perform inventory of what has been furnished
- Ensure that all omissions are covered in the punch list
