4.1.1

Prepare DB Design Development Documents

Based on the RFP, prepare the following:

• DB Design Development Drawings (PDF)
• Divisions 2 through 16 Outline Specifications
• Product File

4.1.2

Submit DB Design Development Documents

Submit the following documents for review:

• DB Design Development Drawings
• Outline Specifications
• Product File

4.1.3

Resolve DB Design Development Documents Review Comments

Resolve all review comments. Submit written responses to review comments, utilizing the NPS review form, within 15 calendar days of receipt of comments.

4.2 Compliance Deliverables

4.2.1

Note:  This section will rarely be utilized.  Most projects that require this level of cultural review and oversight are not usually suitable projects for Design-Build.

When required, prepare and submit drawings and supporting narrative for SHPO/THPO review and other compliance activities, as required.

Incorporate resolution of SHPO/THPO review comments into 100% Design-Build Construction Documents, as required.

When required, prepare and submit drawings and supporting narrative for obtaining Section 404, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination system (NPDES), and other permits as required.

Resolve reviewing agencies comments, as required.

Submit FONSI or ROD

When required, submit FONSI or ROD.

4.3 DB Construction Documents

4.3.1

Prepare 100% Draft DB Construction Documents
Based on the Design Development Documents and resolution of all NPS review comments, complete the following:

• DB Construction Drawings
• Divisions 2 through 16 Construction Specifications
• Product File
• Design Calculations

4.4 DB Construction Documents Deliverables

4.4.1

Submit 100% Draft DB Construction Documents

Submit the following documents for review:

• DB Construction Drawings
• Divisions 2 through 16 Construction Specifications
• Product File
• Design Calculations

4.4.2

Submit 100% Complete DB Construction Documents for Final Approval

Resolve all review comments and incorporate resolutions into the documents listed in Paragraph 4.4.1.

Submit three copies for final approval.

Submit written responses to review comments, utilizing the NPS review form, within 15 calendar days of receipt of comments.

4.4.3

Submit Approved DB Construction Documents for Construction

Upon final resolution of documents submitted in Paragraph 4.4.2, submit the following documents for construction and NPS archiving:

• Approved DB Construction Drawings
• Approved Divisions 2 through 16 Construction Specifications
• Approved Product File
• Supplemental Design Reports (if applicable)
• Design Calculations
