7.1 Approve ROD

Prepare and Finalize Record of Decision

Working collaboratively the project manager, park superintendent and the planning team prepare the ROD for signature by the Regional Director.

Issue Notice of Availability (NOA) for Record of Decision

The Denver Service Center and/or region staff prepare and publish in the Federal Register a NOA for the ROD (the NOA summarizes the ROD). The park superintendent also has the ROD or a summary of the ROD published in the local newspaper of record.
