13.1 Approved Record of Decision (ROD)

In consultation with the regional office, the planning team prepares the ROD for the final special resource study/EIS for signature by the regional director.

13.2 Issue Notice of Availability (NOA) for Record of Decision (ROD)

The Denver Service Center and/or regional staff prepare and publish in the Federal Register a NOA for the ROD (the NOA summarizes the ROD).  The project manager also has the ROD or a summary of the ROD published in the local newspaper of record.
