SERVICEWIDE LAWS AND POLICIES - Historic Properties

Current laws and policies require that the following conditions be achieved in the park for historic properties (e.g., buildings, structures, roads, trails, cultural landscapes):
   

Desired Condition

Historic properties are inventoried and their significance and integrity are evaluated under National Register criteria. The qualities that contribute to the eligibility for listing or listing of historic properties on the NRHP are protected in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards (unless it is determined through a formal process that disturbance or natural deterioration is unavoidable).
